About the author

I have more questions than answers.  Does that make me a bad Christian?  Are Christian writers/bloggers supposed to have more answers than questions?

  • Why are Christians expected to be Republican?
  • Who would Jesus bomb?
  • What does it really mean to be saved?
  • Is our idea of salvation different from what Jesus actually taught?
  • If everyone lives forever in either heaven or hell, then doesn't that mean everyone gets eternal life?
  • Does hell really last forever (Rev 20:14)?
  • Does heaven last forever (Matt 24:35)?
These are among many of the questions that I ponder as I spend time with my heavenly Father and dig into his word.  Regardless of where the answer lies, I know that this life is not about trying to figure out all of the answers.  This life is about love, community, and relationship.

Because of that I am passionate about making an impact in my community and letting people know that God absolutely loves them no matter where they are in life. I have a group that meets here in Asheville to discuss God, religion, church, and whatever else comes up. More info on that here: www.meetup.com/opentable
